ON FLOSSING

Do I really need to floss?

Definitely, yes!  Floss removes stinky bacterial plaque from the in-between areas - in between teeth and in between gums and teeth.  Our toothbrushes can't get to these areas and leaving these areas grimy can cause gum disease and cavities... Not to mention, bad breath!

Can I use COCOfloss if my teeth are tight?

Yes, Cocofloss is appropriate for folks with tight spaces.

WHY DO MY GUMS BLEED WHEN I FLOSS?

Bleeding is one of many signs of inflammation in your gums.  Other signs include puffiness, redness, and soreness. Gums get inflamed when they're surrounded by plaque or tartar.  Keeping your teeth clean will help minimize the bleeding.  When gums are healthy, they don't bleed at all and flossing is more comfortable.

What's the proper flossing technique?

We don't want to bore you with more text right now, so you can watch our video here: www.cocofloss.com/how-to-floss.

How much floss should I use daily?

Use enough to get a good grip, and to be able to to move to a new section of floss for each inter-dental space. With the right technique, 18" (roughly shoulder width) should suffice, and Cocofloss will last over two months.
